Mario Castro, MD, is the Co-Director of the LAM Clinic at Washington University, Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, where he sees 7 LAM patients. He completed his undergraduate and medical school training at the University of Missouri. He then completed a residency and a fellowship at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, MN. Dr. Shifren attended the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, for his undergraduate studies and medical school. He did his residency and chief residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, followed by a fellowship at Washington University/Barnes Jewish Hospital. Dr. Shifren enjoys tennis, cycling, cooking, reading, technology and cars. |
