Media Room
Welcome to our Press Room! Raising awareness of LAM is an important part of our mission. Scientists estimate that more than 250,000 women with LAM could be going undiagnosed or misdiagnosed, placing urgency on The LAM Foundation to identify LAM patients through media awareness. Media awareness helps to identify women who may be living with LAM. These women may unknowingly be making potentially life-threatening choices, like continuing use of birth control pills, getting pregnant or smoking.Women with LAM have compelling stories to share and media plays an important role in having these women heard. If you are a member of the media and you would like to discuss a story idea that will help raise awareness and educate others about this devastating disease, please contact:
