Where will the International Research Conference on TSC and LAM & LAMposium DC take place? plus

All festivities from Thursday evening through the Breath of Hope Gala on Saturday will take place at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill. You are also welcome to join the Step Forward to Cure TSC National Walk which will take place on the National Mall on Sunday, June 25, 2017. More details to come.

What should I wear to LAMposium DC? plus

Casual and comfortable clothing is recommended. All presentations will take place within the hotel’s conference center so bring along a sweatshirt, sweater or a pashmina if you tend to get chilly. You may also want to bring along comfortable clothing for a yoga session. Don’t forget your dancing shoes and evening attire for the Breath of Hope Gala!

I need to order oxygen in Washington, DC. How should I handle it with the hotel?plus

For women on oxygen therapy, be sure to pre-order your oxygen through your standard oxygen supplier. Make certain they deliver your oxygen to the front desk of the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill with your name on the order.

Why are there so many questions on the registration form? plus

In order to receive financial grants for the conference, The National Institutes of Health National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute requires we ask questions on gender, ethnic origin, age and education. Otherwise additional questions within the registration process help us to plan a weekend that is comfortable for everyone.

I want to attend the conference but need financial assistance. Are there options available to help me? plus

If you are a woman with LAM and want to attend LAMposium DC but have limited finances, you can apply for a LAM Family Network (LFN) Travel Grant.
